Vocabulary of Colour is a universe born from a way of living.
What began as an exploration of the colours, objects and everyday moments that inspire Marta´s work has evolved into a collection of pieces designed to become part of daily life.
Vocabulary of Colour is a study of living with objects.
Plates, glassware, textiles, candles and books are not conceived as isolated pieces, but as part of a continuous domestic landscape — one shaped by use, memory and atmosphere.
At its heart, Vocabulary of Colour is about bringing a sense of playfulness to the everyday. Adding humour, beauty and purpose to the simplest gestures: setting a table, lighting a candle, sharing a meal or giving a gift.
It is not about creating objects to be admired at a distance, but about building a world where objects gain meaning through use, gifting and life.
Objects are not endpoints, they are participants. They carry traces, accumulate meaning, and become part of daily lived experience.
